Tony Robbins Podcast

Tony's podcast needed an overhaul in order to boost retention and bring in a new audience that wasn't familiar with the Tony Robbins brand. In order to accomplish this the podcast needed a fresh new look and user experience.

First I improved on the UX by making sure all episodes were searchable, sortable and downloadable. I made subscribing clear and simple. I added convenient play option on the collection page. I added a favorite icon to each episode which would enable a user to save their playlist after creating an account. I also added clickable time stamps to the show notes so users could easily navigate the episode.

For the visuals and user interface I made sure each guest was adequately showcased from the collection page to the episode page. I made sure all buttons were bold and intuitively labeled. I also made sure the playhead and core options were easily accessible and correctly positioned for mobile.

Events

Tony Robbins event pages were in need of a refresh. Poor navigation and page structure was causing friction and uncertainty to users which was negatively impacting ticket sales.

First I improved user experience by creating a sticky sub navigation with critical links accessible from anywhere on the page. The value proposition was not intuitive so I redesigned the page content to include several social proof sections and course breakdown, each designed to satisfy user questions and doubts.

In addition the website had inconsistent interactions, styles, typography, widgets, spacing and layouts. I created a global styleguide to resolve these issues.

Shop

Ecommerce

The shop was poorly structured making product hard to find and browse. Menu icons were confusing. Physical and digital product was often not clear and subscription options on some products were not intuitive.

To resolve the navigation issues I eliminated the visually distracting menu icons and created a sticky sub navigation with the product categories clearly labeled. I designed each collection page to effectively showcase the relative product and show value. I also redesigned the product details page to show information such as features and ingredients in an organized, intuitive way. I also added Apple Pay and Paypal options to the Cart page for convenient checkout.
